Onra has managed to crank out 3 lengthy albums of this stuff and it nevertheless hasn't got erstwhile. Onra is quite a versatile producer as he's showcased on many different projects (from the Synth Funk of Long Distance or the freaked out jazz of Yatha Bhuta Jazz Combo), but in the end what people want from him is him making beats with E Asian samples. That was the reason he was brought into the limelight 10 years agone, and probably nevertheless his signature. Honestly don't remember the original being this slick, simply I guess I've stopped penalizing crate-digger vanquish lps for non being Donuts and just doing their job well / hitting the spot, which this certainly does.

Nifty continuation (and possible conclusion?) to this wonderfully novel series
When I discovered the beginning Chinoiseries anthology through my youtube recommendations nearly a yr or two ago, I instantly thought "How did I non know of this earlier?" Information technology was one of those things that in my mind seemed then appealing conceptually that I was baffled at myself for not seeking something like it out earlier. What Onra does on these albums is basically take influence from RZA's earlier Eastern-flavored hip-hop production, but commit to that manner for album length instrumentally. This third entry is great just similar the other two, y'all can zone out to it.
